National Championships
Archery New Zealand runs two national championships events per year, as well as North Island and South Island championship events.
These are premier events in the archery shooting calendar, and are usually registered with World Archery, so athletes are able to claim World Archery awards and records.
If you are an archer, you do need to be member of Archery NZ (through your club or independent) to shoot these events. However, they are not exclusive, so even if you are novice or new to archery, you are able to register and shoot these events.
Archers from other countries are also welcome to enter as part of the open competition.
