Youth Interclub Challenge

Youth Interclub Challenge

This Challenge is designed to help youth archers progress through their archery journey and try new things. Each month there is a different shoot. Results are sent in at the end of every month, collated, and certificates sent out to the winners in each division. It is a good way to compete against other archers across the country without leaving your home club! There is what we call a “pinscore” for each month. If the archer achieves this score, we will let you know, and they can claim a pin for their quivers.

Remember you can shoot the rounds as many times as you like throughout the month and submit the best results by the 6th of the following month. Any late entries will not be included in the official results.

If your club is affiliated to Archery NZ, this will mean your Youth are included in all the rounds, including automatically included into the School shoot programme. If you’re not sure, we can check for you. Archers can also affiliate independently also.

You’ll notice that some of the rounds are called “School”. That is because all Archery NZ archers in years 7 and above are automatically entered into the School Programme (and it’s great for the younger kids to practice too). Please get your archers to add their school’s name and their school year on the scoresheet when you shoot those months.

If you have any questions and we invite feedback at any time.
