Archery NZ Affiliation and Membership
The Archery NZ membership year is from the 1st October until the 30th September each year. We have a variety of different membership types to cater for every level of archer.
Membership types are defined in our Constitution.
Clubs affiliate as members of Archery NZ
Archery clubs may join Archery NZ as member organisations (see Club Affiliation). Club members then become members of Archery NZ through their affiliated clubs. More than 98% of Archery NZ’s members in 2024-2025 were part of an affiliated club.
Affiliated clubs are enabled to hold registered/sanctioned events, to take part in inter-club competitions, and more. Membership through this affiliation model is lower-cost than independent individual membership. Find out more about affiliated club benefits.
Club members whose Archery NZ membership is through their affiliated club do not pay membership fees directly to Archery NZ; these are invoiced to each club periodically throughout the membership year.
Individuals may join independently as members of Archery NZ
Individuals who do not belong to a NZ archery club, or whose club is not affiliated with Archery NZ, may join individually. Costs are:
- Full Individual Shooting (all ages): $115
- Full Individual Non-Shooting (all ages): $20
- School Archery Programme member (shooting only, no voting rights): $10
A 50% fee reduction applies for Full Individual members who join on or after July 1 each year, i.e. the last 3 months of our membership year (School membership is not eligible for this reduction). This is reflected automatically on our membership portal.
Please visit our membership portal to join individually or to manage your existing membership details.
Individual memberships may be paid online using a credit card.
