Hello,

I would like to begin by acknowledging and sincerely thanking Katherine for her service as Chairperson of Archery NZ over the past two years. Her leadership during a time of change has helped bring greater stability to our organisation, and we are grateful for her commitment and the steady hand she brought to the role.

As of this month, I have stepped into the position of Acting Chairperson. Many of you will know me already, but for those who do not: my name is Frasier Cho, and I have been involved in archery for over 15 years. I shoot with Auckland Archery Club and have served in a variety of roles at club and national levels; as an athlete, volunteer, and committee member.

It is a privilege to step into this role, and I am committed to working alongside our Board, committees, and wider community to ensure the continued development of archery in New Zealand. My leadership approach is collaborative and steady, I believe in fairness, good process, and supporting others to do their best work. I also believe in listening and staying grounded in the purpose of our sport.

If there is something you would like to raise or discuss, I welcome you to reach out. Your views matter, and we are stronger as a sport when people feel empowered to contribute.

Thank you again to all those who continue to volunteer their time and energy for the benefit of our archers and our sport. I look forward to the journey ahead.

Regards,
Frasier Cho
