PREMIER EVENTS COORDINATOR Needed
Archery NZ is looking for a Premier Events Coordinator to help deliver our national championships and premier tournaments.
This key volunteer role acts as the central link between Archery NZ, Local Organising Committees, and stakeholders to make sure our premier events are well-organised, consistent, and successful. You’ll help ensure athletes, officials, and the archery community enjoy top-quality events, while supporting the future growth of our sport.
If you have strong communication and coordination skills, and would like to contribute to the success of national events, we would love to hear from you.

Financial Officer Needed
Archery New Zealand is seeking applications for the role of Financial Officer.
The Financial Officer is a key member of the Finance and Risk Committee (FARC) which reports to the Board of Archery New Zealand.
Key skills and attributes required to perform effectively in the role include:
- Knowledgeable regarding accountancy processes including GST preparation;
- Experienced in the use of electronic accountancy programmes, in particular, Xero;
- Experience in preparing monthly management accounts for FARC and the Board;
- Experienced in the requirements of an annual audit;
- Well organised;
- Able to allocate adequate time to the maintenance, in good order, of the financial records; and
- Able to work in a logical orderly manner.
This voluntary role typically requires around 6 hours of time commitment per week.

EDIJ Committee Member Needed

Archery New Zealand: Appointed Board Member Vacancy
Archery New Zealand is looking for two new Appointed Board Members to join our governance team and help steer the future of our sport.
The Board is responsible for the stewardship and well-being of Archery NZ on behalf of our members and stakeholders. We are looking for someone who brings strategic leadership, sound judgement, and the ability to see the bigger picture as we continue to grow the sport across the country.
What we are looking for:
We are seeking someone who brings a mix of governance experience, strategic insight, and commitment to good decision-making. In particular, the Board values:

Prior experience as a director, trustee, officer or in another governance role

Understanding of the legal, regulatory, fiduciary and ethical obligations of Board Members

A commitment to minimising conflicts of interest and maintaining independence of thought

A broad skillset: financial, legal, HR, marketing/communications, or advocacy is particularly valuable

A commitment to diversity and inclusion, reflecting the communities we serve – we particularly welcome applications from women

The ability to think strategically and anticipate opportunities and challenges

The confidence to provide an independent and constructive perspective in Board discussions

Experience with community programmes, commercial partnerships, or local and or central government engagement.
