Announcing the Team to compete at the 2025 World Archery Youth Championships to be held in Winnipeg, Canada from the 17th to the 24th of August.
Archery NZ and the Selectors would like to congratulate the following athletes on their selection to attend this pinnacle event for Youth archers.
Recurve
Thornton Wallberg (Auckland Archery Club) – U18 Men’s Recurve
Zac Campbell (Timaru Archery Club) – U18 Men’s Recurve
Phoebe Newcombe (Mountain Green Archery Club) – U18 Women’s Recurve
Compound
Hector McNeilly (Independent) – U18 Men’s Compound
Jack Adams (Independent) – U21 Men’s Compound
Levi Matheson (Auckland Archery Club) – U18 Women’s Compound
Henry Bishop (Mountain Green Archery Club) U18 Men’s Compound, was selected but is unable to travel to this event. Well done Henry – we look forward to seeing your name on the team list in two years time.
Archery NZ is excited with the selection of this team; we not only have Individual entries but two Mixed Teams in the Competition. It is fantastic to see young archers stepping up in their archery journey!
